Mavericks Gear Up for Game 5 Despite Injury Concerns

Who's In, Who's Out?

Luka Doncic, Maxi Kleber, and Dorian Finney-Smith Ailing, Game 5 Status Uncertain

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks will take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 on Wednesday, but their roster is facing a series of injury challenges. Superstar Luka Doncic is battling a right knee sprain and an upper respiratory illness, while Maxi Kleber and Dorian Finney-Smith are also dealing with injuries.

Doncic, the Mavericks' leading scorer and playmaker, suffered the knee sprain in Game 3. He has practiced since then and is expected to play in Game 5, but his effectiveness could be limited. Kleber, a key defensive cog, has been out with a right Achilles strain since Game 2, while Finney-Smith has been sidelined with a right adductor strain since Game 3.

The Mavericks will need all hands on deck if they want to overcome the Clippers and advance to the second round of the playoffs. Stay tuned to ESPN for the latest updates on the Mavericks' injury situation and the outcome of Game 5.
